As we anticipate the arrival of sweet baby #2,
It is easy to feel as if there is simply too much to do.
Will we have the rooms painted, and prepped for the switch?
Our hope is that these transitions happen without even a glitch!
However, as we reflect on what a joy this baby will be;
we are ever aware of a much stronger reality.
That many a child will enter this earth;
without celebration, warmth, or food upon their birth.
As we have been blessed, we’d be so thankful to know;
that through our loved ones, other babies will have the chance to grow.

Operation Safety Net
Malaria is one of the deadliest diseases impacting poor children around the world. The disease kills more than 2,000 children every day and now is the #1 killer of children in many of the places where World Vision works. Fortunately, effective and inexpensive tools are available to protect children from this killer. Your gift today will help us implement "Operation Safety Net," with an initial goal of providing three million life-saving mosquito bed nets, along with other prevention and education tools, for children and families in the hard-hit African nations of Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya and Mali. We are expanding this effort into other countries, as well.
